How it works
- Companies submit. Businesses and PR agencies submit releases through PRWire with a headline, body, featured image and media contact.
- We review. The PRWire editorial team checks every release against our content guidelines before it is published.
- You receive. Approved releases appear in the newsroom, in the RSS feeds and in email alerts at the same time, with the media contact attached.
What you can expect from a PRWire release
Every release is published with a dateline, the issuing organisation’s boilerplate and a named media contact with email and, where provided, phone. Releases are not edited for angle; they are the organisation’s own words, reviewed for compliance with our guidelines. Where a release includes images, they are available at full resolution. Each release page offers a one-click Print / Save as PDF view that keeps the headline, body, dateline, contact and source URL.
Frequently asked questions
Is it free to use PRWire press releases?
Yes. Journalists, editors, bloggers and media outlets can read, quote and republish PRWire press releases free of charge. We ask that you credit PRWire and link back to the original release.
How quickly are new releases published?
Every submission is reviewed by the PRWire editorial team before it goes live. Approved releases are published in the newsroom and pushed to the RSS feeds immediately, usually within one business day of submission.
How do I follow only the industries I cover?
Each industry has its own RSS feed. Open the RSS feeds page, copy the feed URL for your beat and add it to your feed reader, CMS or newsletter tool. You can also filter the newsroom by industry or search by company and topic.
Who do I contact about a specific release?
Every release carries a Media Contact box in its sidebar with the issuing organisation's spokesperson, email and phone. For questions about PRWire itself, email partners@prwire.me.
Can I get a PDF of a press release?
Yes. Open any release and click Print / Save as PDF under the article. The print view strips the site navigation and keeps the headline, body, dateline, media contact and source URL.
