Submission guidelines
Every press release is reviewed by a person within 48 hours before it goes live. Follow these guidelines and your release can be approved first time.
What we don’t publish
Approved first time: the essentials
Requirements
What every release needs
A real news angle
A launch, partnership, funding round, appointment, award, event, study or milestone. Say what is new, why it matters and who it affects.
A clear headline
One line that states the news accurately. No clickbait, all capitals or excessive punctuation.
Original, well-structured text
Third person, your own words, no errors. Key facts in the first paragraph, under 1,500 words, with links only to relevant, safe pages.
A featured image
A high-resolution image that matches the story and that you own or have permission to use.
Boilerplate and media contact
A short paragraph about your organisation, plus a named contact with email and phone who can answer journalists.
The right category
Choose the industry that best fits your news so it reaches the journalists who follow that industry.
